Working student Benchmarking & Cost Engineering

Role summary:

As a Working student in Benchmarking & Cost Engineering you are supporting our Insights & Cost Engineering team to aggregate the findings & conclusions. You are supporting on cutting-edge technologies & exciting projects in an international environment and get insights in automotive industry as well as deep understanding in cutting-edge technologies.
You are contributing to make these projects to a success by running with your research and investigations. You will get insights how we can support our clients with our outside-in perspective. You support the day-to-day business with focus on time critical projects & you also work on in-depth technology projects for our internal knowledge creation. Your fresh eyes are a source of proposals to improve the overall results of our evaluations.
Based in Munich.

The role will focus on:

• Research activities to support ongoing projects
• Support for cost & technical evaluation as well as benchmarking activities

Reporting line :

• N+1 : Head of Projects / Head of Subscriptions
• N+2 : Head of Costing

Responsibilities:

• Carry out technology researches
• Analyze input data, identify materials and manufacturing processes
• Understand and explain product operation (system, subsystem, component, function, etc.).
• Support cost/performance benchmarking and value analysis studies
• Write study reports according to required quality standards
• Write and update technical content
